Shamantha J. Lora, MSc

Research Coordinator

Shamantha has over five years of experience in clinical research and is dedicated to problem-solving and translational research. She holds an MSc from the Institute of Medical Sciences with a specialization in Neuroscience and an HBSc from the University of Toronto. Shamantha’s research at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), in collaboration with Defence Research and Development Canada and the Canadian Armed Forces, examined the sub-concussive effects of repetitive blast exposure in military personnel and the pathophysiology of occupational trauma using multimodal imaging. She is passionate about mental health, trauma-informed care, health systems improvement, and advancing equitable access to care. Additionally, she holds certifications in Health Systems Quality Improvement (UTIHI) and Business Analysis (GMCA) from UofT. Shamantha looks forward to supporting the OSI Clinic’s work in improving health outcomes.
