Sara Stretton, PhD
Visiting Scholar
Dr. Sara Stretton holds a PhD in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences from Western University. Sara’s PhD explored the link between occupational stress and heart disease among firefighters with a focus on psychosocial risk and protective factors. Sara’s research undertaking also includes mental health education programs, peer support, and return-to-work initiatives, where she focuses on identifying free and widely accessible mental wellness treatment targets.
