Alexa Van Rassel, Masters Candidate
Masters Student
Alexa joined MacDonald Franklin OSI Research Centre in the fall of 2024 as a master's student under the supervision of Dr. Paul Frewen (Western University), Dr. Don Richardson, and Dr. Anthony Nazorov. She graduated in the spring of 2024 with a BSc in Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience from Western University and is continuing her journey at Western, currently pursuing a master's degree in Neuroscience. Her research explores the use of guided meditation in virtual reality as a potential intervention for clinical populations with trauma- and mood-related disorders. She is passionate about helping others and supports the team through proofreading and involvement in projects aligned with her research interests.
