Risk Factors for Moral Injury: The Light Triad of Personality
Invitation to Participate:
Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) Veterans are invited to participate in an online study exploring the role of risk factors for moral injury, and how personality traits may influence the severity of moral injury following deployment-related experiences.
Study background:
CAF members may encounter challenging deployment experiences that may increase their risk of experiencing moral injury. Research is needed to understand whether differences in personality impact the development of moral injury among CAF Veterans.
Study procedure:
You are eligible to participate in this study if you:
have a history of military service within the CAF (i.e., CAF Veteran);
are at least 18 years of age;
are able to provide informed consent; and
are English-speaking.
If you choose to participate, you will be asked to complete a series of online questionnaires. The duration of the survey is approximately 30 to 45 minutes.
